Wash & fold is for the laundry you live in: clothes, towels, sheets, gym gear, kids’ everything. It is the core of our laundry pickup and delivery service across Chicago: we wash it, dry it, fold it, and pack it so it goes straight from the bag to the drawer.

We do not dry clean. If an item is dry-clean-only, leave it out of your bag and we will not be offended.

Wash & fold with pickup and delivery costs $1.95 per pound with a 25 lb minimum, plus a flat $5 delivery fee that covers both trips. The minimum order comes to $53.75: 25 lb at $1.95 is $48.75, plus $5 delivery. Your card is charged when we weigh your laundry, so you pay for exactly what you send.

Wash & fold with pickup and delivery is our core service: we come to you. If you would rather bring laundry to us, drop-off at any of our 20 Wash Smart locations costs $1.45 per pound with a 15 lb minimum. If you need a pickup today, call (773) 436-1994 before 12pm: same-day pickup is phone-only, and a $20 delivery fee replaces the standard $5.

Wash and fold is a laundry service where you pay by the pound to have everyday laundry washed, dried, and folded for you. With Drop & Dash it includes pickup and delivery: we collect your bag from your door anywhere in our Chicago service area and bring it back folded in 24 hours.

With pickup and delivery, wash and fold costs $1.95 per pound with a 25 lb minimum and a flat $5 delivery fee. At a Wash Smart drop-off location it is $1.45 per pound with a 15 lb minimum. Every rate, including comforters and pillows, is on the full pricing page.

A full load in a home washing machine weighs about 10 to 15 pounds. Our 25 lb minimum works out to about two large loads.

If you have allergies or sensitive skin, request Aura Free & Clear, our hypoallergenic detergent, when you book. Pants are folded pockets-in, and everything comes back in compact, consistent stacks that go straight into the drawer. Every order is washed separately, so your laundry never shares a machine with another customer’s.

A minimum wash & fold order costs $53.75 delivered: about two large loads washed, dried, folded, and back at your door in 24 hours. What you are buying is time: the sorting, the machine cycles, the folding, and the trips, all handled while you do something else. If laundry regularly eats an evening of your week, the math works.
